The LFCA was established in 1978 as a voluntary and independent organisation run by foster carers for foster carers.
We have a committee of 8 representing all areas of fostering.
The LFCA is partially funded by Leeds Social Care, Leeds City Council and other charitable donations. In partnership we endeavour to take forward your views and recommendations at management meetings, and working parties. We aim to improve the support, service and remuneration of Leeds foster carers.
Our support workers are extremely experienced foster carers who have all faced the traumas and stress of fostering
The LFCA have a new Advice & Support Line, which is available from 09:00-00:00 (midnight) seven days a week. An experienced foster carer will take your call on the number below. Mobile: 07505 091219.
